WHAT THEY SAY
Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Love this watch, well built and reasonable reserve electric power, it has not discontinued yet, mine is a little fast although not a big issue.
That is a great entry into automatic wristwatches, the Seiko activity has an extended history of reliability.
Great watch that came promptly. It exceeded my expectations. Fit and end was beautiful. Well packaged. The watch continues excellent time right out of the box.
A hi-tech, 23 jewels, computerized movement defines the Seiko Auto Sports and earns it its classic status. This analog watch is supported by 23 jewels; the hands are luminous and silver-toned while baton hour-markers add extra awareness. The watch also shows time and resists normal water for 100 feet. An ideal watch for a circular of beach volleyball, the silver-toned stainless steel hyperlink bracelet will keep it set up.
SEIKO 5 – this is of the “5” An excellent marketer had the theory in the 70iha sido: to be always a SEIKO 5, the watch has to have the following 5 (five) features (thus the name SEIKO 5):
- Water resistant,
- Shock resistant,
Please be aware that some SEIKO 5’s are in fact SEIKO 4’s, if the “Day” function is omitted, then your Caliber 7S25 is used. The sole difference to the normally found 7S26 is the omission of the day wheel.
Also re-issues of SEIKO 5 Activities often use the 7S36 caliber. Again the 7S36 is similar to typically the most popular 7S26, yet it features 23 Jewels as opposed to the 21 Jewels in the 7S26.
Please note that all these movements overcome for a price of 21’600 bph (beats per hour) or 6 bps (beats per second).
As a comparison, an ETA 2824-2 beats at 28’800 bph or 8 bps. A Miyota 82xx beats at 21’600 bph.
Why will i point out these three movements?
Because they’re within probably 80% of all inexpensive automatic wrist watches. A market talk about that is huge, yet challenged nowadays (2006) by an increasing show of inexpensive China Made computerized movements An automated watch (also known as a self-winding watch) is a mechanical watch, typically with an equilibrium steering wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the movement of the wearer’s arm, rather than having to be wound physically every day.
Whereas a quartz watch is run by electricity, a mechanised watch is power by way of a mainspring which must be rewound for the watch to keep time.
THE CASE AND CRYSTAL
For SNK enthusiasts who wish those watch situations were bigger, the put it off is finally over. The SNZG15 steps a solid 42 mm and is also 12 mm dense. Which means its proportions are bigger than the old-style men’s wristwatches, but is noticeably smaller than the outrageously huge watches you commonly see today.
The top case includes a brushed surface finish, as well as polished end on the attributes. The crystal is Seiko’s own hardlex crystal, which is extremely scratch resistant. It is also water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The dial design seems a bit busy, though it does have a fairly nice arrangement that makes everything still readable. The exterior ring shows the dominant numbered markings, while an inner ring provides military services time. The day and night out info is presented at the 3 o’clock position.
The hour and minute hands are large with a pointy end, while the second hand is just a good sliver. The dark dial offsets the hands and markers properly. The lume is excellent, as it glows brightly for 7 or 8 hours.
The automatic mechanical 7S36 watch movement is correct and reliable, with variances ranging from -20 secs to +40 a few moments a day. That doesn’t quite compare with the best Swiss and Japanese programmed movements, but for an entry level watch it’s more than sufficient.
It includes a master rate of 21600 BPH, so you don’t get the unique ticking from a quartz watch that may be annoying at night when everything’s quiet. There is a 40-hour vitality reserve so you can take it off at night without having to worry that it’ll stop working.
This is perhaps the weakest hyperlink in the Seiko 5 SNZG15, and it’s really the reason why the SNZG15 is a few dollars cheaper than the Seiko 5 SNZG13. The 22 mm nylon strap can feel a lttle bit too hard at first, and you will need time to break it in. It’ll get the job done sufficiently eventually though.
For a few, the nylon appears quite cheap so it doesn’t match the calm appeal of the Seiko 5 SNZG15. But with NATO or leather straps you may easily buy in stores and online, it’ll look far better.
PROS & CONS Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Basically, what we have here’s an basic level military field watch, and it’s rugged efficiency and design are excellent.
The dial provides info quickly, and even at night there’s no problem telling the time. The hands are brightly luminous at night, and it generally does not fade for most hours.
The accuracy is good enough for most people.
The “provenance” (history), is nice, as it dates back to a youthful era when wrist watches such as these were worn on the field of struggle.
The size of the case is simply perfect for people that have bigger wrists, but even for standard wrists it doesn’t really look too big.
As for the nylon strap drawback, for some that it is nice enough to wear as is. But also for the most part, people don’t choose the Seiko 5 SNZG15 for the strap. You can certainly change the strap to NATO or leather and that should improve its look even more.
WHY I SHOP AT AMAZON
Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens -I put a lot of time and effort into choosing where you can shop. I’ve favorite stores for groceries. I’ve favorite stores for clothes. I’ve stores I detest. And, of course, almost always there is online shopping.
Mainly, there’s just Amazon.
I find myself at Amazon.com nearly every day — even when I’m not shopping, I may be exploring prices, reading reviews, upgrading my account or just dreaming. There’s almost always something in my own cart, just looking forward to a reason to officially place an order. It’s the internet version of home window shopping.
In the long run, I’m most likely to make my final purchase with Amazon anyway. Listed below are 7 explanations why it’s become my go-to store:
After years of researching prices and coming back to Amazon, I’ve finally became aware there are just some things they’ll always offer at the lowest price. I recall when Amazon offered just literature, videos, and music. Now, will there be anything they don’t really sell? I’ve bought consumer electronics, gadgets, groceries, clothes, and even furniture. It really is the one place I could go to order anything we are in need of.
I’ve only possessed to cope with their returns a few times, but it’s a simple process. Complete the proper execution through your accounts, print out the RMA and shipping label, then email the item back. They’ll send an upgraded or credit your profile when it arrives. A breeze.

This might be one of my favorite reasons for having Amazon. Several items, like groceries and diapers, can be bought as a membership. They’ll ship the product to your dwelling at regular intervals, on your agenda at the current price — and give you a supplementary 15% off!
Here’s another favorite feature — when you preorder era books, films or music, you get the cheapest possible price between the day you order and the day it is released.
